GRANDE ANNEE has proved profitable to follow in recent months and a 6lb rise for her Windsor victory may not be enough to prevent her posting her fourth victory in a row. A Cambridgeshire entrant who is not likely to get a run in that feature, she now races off a 14lb higher mark to the one she achieved her first handicap victory off. Her style of racing makes it difficult for the assessor to rate her achievements as connections have opted to deliver her late and fast. Redesignation won a hotly contested handicap last week at Sandown. Ground conditions which he will encounter here are much different to those at the Esher venue while Midships is bred to come into his own over this trip and even further and finally been given his chance to shine over this distance. Connections opted to bounce him out and attempt to make all the running at Kempton last time where he was always going to be vulnerable to speedier sorts coming from off the pace. If attaining a soft lead here he could be dangerous but the lightly raced and improving Grande Annee is the selection.
