      Verdict

      Ruth Carr is having a fine season and Cartmell Cleave followed a very good run at York with a victory at this level at Doncaster for which a 4lb rise doesn't look excessive. Suzi's Connoisseur bounced back to winning ways here last month and has won from higher marks though some rain would aid his cause. Queen Of Burgundy is 8lb higher than her only victory in a Class 5 handicap and though Lethal Angel has been running well she keep going up in the weights without winning. Gold At Midnight went up 7lb for her victory at Leicester and is another 2lb higher after finishing runner-up on a return visit. OBEE JO landed a Thirsk maiden in April and has run in better class than this the last twice. The assessor has given him a chance so he gets the nod in a tight handicap.
