Verdict

July has traditionally been a fruitful period for the Sir Mark Prescott faithful and Inglis Drever looks to be the typical sort to expand upon the Newmarket-based trainer's seasonal strike-rate. The in-form Bahlino and Runaway Star are obvious dangers, whilst any support for Light Scent should be monitored carefully. However, Inglis Drever, who is still lightly raced, will be a tough customer to deal with if he handles the ground. His 5lb penalty for winning a lesser grade contest at Southwell does have to be of slight concern, but the four-year-old has shown a willing enough attitude to expect that he will make another bold bid to continue to pay his way.
