It's Dubai Dolly won in good fashion when opening her account on turf at Newbury last month but she disappointed back on the Polytrack at Kempton subsequently and a better bet looks to be BRIEF LOOK, who gets the vote ahead of Cascata. Luca Cumani's filly, a winner of a Great Leighs maiden on her only start as a two-year-old, ran her best race in a handicap when chasing home Kaloni at Ripon last month on her fourth start and she has every chance off a 5lb higher mark today. Clive Brittain's Greek import Valmari is only 2lbs higher than when successful at Doncaster in June so cannot be discounted but he may find the ground too quick, while David Simcock's Arcola has struggled against the handicapper since winning at Brighton in July and has to race off the same mark as when well held behind Caster Sugar at Brighton earlier this month. Ralph Beckett's Anice Stellano, a winner in a Newmarket maiden on her only start as a juvenile, was well beaten in the Ribblesdale on her second start this term but ran better on her first start in a handicap when a half length second behind Special Reserve at Windsor last month and she has every chance off just a 1lb higher mark today. The vote though goes the way of Henry Cecil's Brief Look who lost no caste in defeat behind Hidden Brief on her debut and has shown improved form since then on the Polytrack. Back to back successes in a Kempton maiden and a Lingfield handicap can be followed up in her hat-trick bid with a winning return to turf off just a 3lb higher mark than when successful in good fashion at Lingfield.
