        Verdict

        The form of Rawyaan's maiden victory on the Rowley Mile course last back end is working out well and the lightly raced colt made a most pleasing seasonal return when landing a Nottingham handicap in comfortable fashion. There should be plenty more to come from this progressive type who should go close despite a hefty 10lb rise. Chorist has proved a model of consistency and has place claims along with the hat-trick seeking Waverley but Football Crazy may now be in the handicapper's grip after notching a sequence of wins.
