Verdict

Cote Soleil had become disappointing before taking advantage of a lenient mark to win two of his last three starts. The five-year-old is fully effective on this quicker ground and is still well treated under a 5lb penalty so should go well once again. Lygeton Lad has proved most consistent this term and is entitled to go close as is Swynford Elegance who shaped well last time.
