PASTELLO certainly deserves to get her head in front and we will give her the nomination over Helaku and Whistle Blower. The selection has finished second on each of her last two starts but the form is working out well and connections look to have found her a good opportunity to break her maiden tag. She has trip and ground to suit a bold bid is anticipated. The market needs close inspection as her stablemate Helaku could be her biggest threat as she looks to be well bred and it will be interesting to see if she is strong in the betting. Whistle Blower didn't get home over a slightly longer trip last time so he has to of interest now that he is dropped back to this more suitable distance. Andrew Balding sends Ipswich Lad to post here and he showed enough on his debut at Chepstow to suggest that he should be capable of winning races. He could give our selection a race, but Pastello looks a progressive filly and she sets a decent standard for the others.
