TURNPIKE TRIP has had a nice break since a solid third at Sandown in mid-June and his yard have just started to find form again, having produced a Listed winner at Salisbury earlier this week. It was around this time last year that the Candy gelding struck form and hopefully he can repeat the dose here. The lightly-raced Dubawi Prince remains a colt of some potential and the market should give some indication of stable expectations after an absence of close to 500 days. Zatorius looks just the sort to benefit from this first attempt over 1m4f while the unexposed three-year-olds Scaramanga and, especially, Great Beyond are worthy of close inspection. The latter returns after wind surgery and is one to take careful note of whatever his fate on this comeback run.
