The annual grey horse cavalry charge is always an enjoyable spectacle but usually provides a punting headache. This year's large-field renewal is no different but is unusual in that a three-year-old heads the weights. GOODNIGHT GIRL has been in sparkling form on recent starts and was more impressive than ever last week suggesting that her improvement curve has yet to plateau. This is a challenging assignment against her elders but she's well worth supporting in her current mod. Champagne Bob is another sprinter to rediscover winning form of late and looks dangerous in search of the hat-trick while the old boy Time Medicean, Glenn Coco and Lucky Beggar are just a few of the others with claims in this usually wide-open affair.
