      Verdict

Azano ended his first campaign finishing second in a Newbury Group 3 but disappointed in the Free Handicap before leading for 5f in the 2000 Guineas. Far Above, from a yard in form, came here for a maiden last month and justified strong support so deserves the step up in grade. Glorious Lover will need to improve massively from his Newcastle handicap victory but JASH has to be the form pick. Simon Crisford's colt followed easy victories Newmarket and Salisbury with a staying-on second in the Middle Park and will be better suited by this trip. Watan won twice over 6f in his first season and led for a long way over a mile in the Craven Stakes on his reappearance.
