Three of these run in the blue of Godolphin. William Buick gets the leg up on Old Persian but he’s not thrived on soft ground so far. Bow Street easily lands the odds at Kempton in November and looks a likely improver while Saeed bin Suroor’s Beautiful Memory is unbeaten since stepping up to 1m2f. Casey Jones has won all three starts at Newcastle but will have questions to answer surrounding the going. REGIMENTED didn’t handle heavy going at Epsom last year but his record otherwise was exemplary. He should handle the extra quarter-mile on breeding and can give a good account. Baileys Excelerate also did well in his first season and Mark Johnston will find further opportunities for the grey this year with Dukhan preferred to the hat-trick seeking Zoraya and Istanbul Sultan of the others.
