Verdict

The globe-trotting DEAUVILLE (NAP) looks the class act in this. He won the Huxley Stakes at Chester last spring and was later placed in the Tattersalls Gold Cup, Queen Anne Stakes and Arlington Million. What About Carlo has each-way claims as he showed himself to be better than a handicapper last year, winning a Listed race at Newbury in July – he holds Frankuus on Goodwood running in September. Robin Of Navan finished ahead of Forest Ranger when second in a Group 3 here in October but Euginio will need to take a further step forward to be competitive at this level. Master The World has been in good form on the all-weather but looks up against it here giving weight all round.
