Altyn Orda bolted on the way to the start of the Oh So Sharp Stakes here in October but shrugged off the ordeal to record a 25/1 shock. That’s the best form on offer but her yard has yet to click into gear. Billesdon Brook may have had enough for the season when fifth in the May Hill at Doncaster in September and is back over her winning distance at which she beat Ertiyad at Goodwood. Dramatically might not be one of Ballydoyle’s best prospects but she’ll give her trainer an idea of the level of the English fillies. Eirene was confined to sprint distance last season and Nyaleti’s limitations have been exposed but there should be more to come this year from Soliloquy and NAWASSI. The latter is bred in the purple being by Dubawi out of a Group 2 winner who was placed in the 1000 Guineas. That first fillies’ classic was on the agenda from the moment she trounced a big field here in November when still showing signs of inexperience. After two victories, Threading was strongly fancied for the Cheveley Park here in September but was unable to quicken. The extra furlong today will help and she’s a danger to all.
