Brigand was only beaten a short-head when favourite at Windsor but has changed stables since. Michael Wigham’s handicappers are always worth a second look on this track and Executive Force has plunged down the weights and hasn’t been running badly on the all-weather this summer. LITTLE JO (NAP) was slowly away at Pontefract last time but still won doing handsprings. He’s improving at a rate of knots and a penalty may not be enough to halt his progress. Al Reeh looked to be coming to hand at Nottingham 10 days ago and is now fitted with cheekpieces while Keepup Kevin has been getting closer. Rebel Cause also warrants a mention but has been racing over further.
