Robero had Russian Realm behind when scoring off a 6lb higher mark at Pontefract last summer. He may have needed his first run for Gay Kelleway at Ascot and is an interesting contender in an open-looking affair. Paul Midgley’s eight-year-old can be forgiven his run on fast going at Hamilton and also enters the equation. Al Asef remains unexposed and a case can also be made for Equitation, Lady Freyja and Explain on recent form. Akbar Shah keeps knocking on the door but ZEYZOUN had excuses when last of four here two weeks ago and there is probably more to come from Chris Wall’s French import over this trip and he’s preferred to stablemate Han Solo Berger.
