A dilemma here for those who simply like to back the grey, and we'll suggest MEDICI TIME to follow-up a recent success, while Finsbury is back on the same mark as when winning this last year and could prove a major obstacle. Medici Time has twice won over this 6f trip and he can usually be relied upon to run his race. He certainly did so last time when scoring comfortably on fast ground at Haydock and he looks likely to be able to defy a 7lb rise on that evidence. Finsbury has not won since taking this race last year and Jim Goldie's six-year-old is equally effective over both this trip and 7f. He has not been running badly despite a string of defeats and won't be far away if the first-time visor works. Sarah's Art has conditions and trip to suit but the handicapper looks to have him at the moment, while the ground looks to be against Witchry. Zowington has been in good form throughout the summer but perhaps just has a few pounds too many to shoulder as a result, while Hits Only Jude probably wants slower ground to be at his best. Star Strider looks well handicapped on some Polytrack form if able to reproduce that in headgear and Sir Edwin Landseer is the class horse in the line-up and should make his presence felt. A few grey areas then, and its looks like Medici Time.
