Plenty of the field arrive here with claims but the recent outing from Hazyview could give Neville Callaghan's charge an edge and he is taken to gain some compensation for his near miss at Leicester and is fancied over Tabadul, Prince Of Dreams and Muhaymin, who are all hard to split on what they have achieved to date. Mr Tambourine Man, who represents last year's winning trainer in this race, Paul Cole, is another worthy of a place on the shortlist - while a move for Spin King should not be taken lightly once the betting opens in earnest. However, they may all struggle to give weight and a beating to Hazeyview, who showed a real relish when upped to this trip last time. That experience combined with his proven stamina could be enough to see him home today and, from a mark of just 73, his trainer will still have plenty of horse to work with after reassessment. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Screenplay will also have learnt from her juvenile campaign and, like a couple of others in the field, will be better for the run today.
