Dante's Diamond, Word Perfect and Wonderful Mind look to be the principles in the opener on the card with the confident vote going to Word Perfect. The filly hails from the Mick Easterby yard and she ran well on her debut when a close third behind Tara Tara. She is sure to come on for that run and as she has been given a fair draw in stall 6 and with conditions to suit she is taken to score. Dante's Diamond is another that ran green on his debut but he did catch the eye when second behind Alvarinho Lady at Nottingham and he is another that will not be far away from a favourable draw. Wonderful Mind is a well-bred colt by Mind Games who could make a useful sprinter, and from the plum draw in stall 1 the betting should be closely monitored for signs of market confidence. However, we prefer to side with racecourse experience on this occasion and we are happy to stick with Word Perfect as our idea of the winner.
