Leicester standing dish Snowed Under was a very comfortable winner at that particular venue last time out and can follow up under an 8lb penalty here, with Cripsey Brook, Mexican Pete and Green Room others to consider in a decent handicap. The selection steps up to 1m4f here and that should not unduly inconvenience. He races as though he can get further than the 10f he has won over and it is a bit of a surprise that he hasn't run at this trip since flopping at Beverley ages ago. Cripsey Brook has stepped up well from 10f to 1m6f this season and loves this sort of surface. Keith Reveley's gelding is still on a handy mark and can go well. Mexican Pete won at Warwick last time and relishes fast ground. A 6lb penalty will make this more difficult, but this consistent sort can again show up. Of the others, Green Room looks a danger after staying well to win over 11f at Warwick last time and does not look harshly treated for her handicap debut, but Snowed Under has the experience and stomach for a battle and can go in again.
