A smallish field for this maiden fillies' contest where Medley stands out and gets the vote from Silkie Smooth and Darrfonah. The selection is owned by HRH The Queen and produced easily the best form of these when fourth of 18 in the Group 3 Albany Stakes last time. She showed plenty of speed that day and a reproduction of that would be good enough to beat this lot. Silkie Smooth put up a decent debut effort considering she hated the soft ground at York, but on this faster ground and after plenty of recovery time we should see much more from her. Darrfonah is next best of those with experience, while Freedom At Last may prove best of those on debut, but Medley sets the standard here and gets the vote.
