      Verdict

ROYAL NORMANDY was not at his best when only sixth at Kempton last time but that came only six days after going close at the same track in a higher grade than this. Fresh from a lay-off today, he should go close. Snappy Guest has been thereabouts over 7f of late and drops to 6f for the first time while Racing Angel has proved best over the minimum trip so far. Lolita won a higher grade sprint last year and Upavon, prolific on the all-weather, can race off a much lower mark back on the Turf.
