SOHCAHTOA edges a narrow vote of confidence over top weight Anice Stellato and the lightly raced Cygnet. The last named failed to give his running behind the selection at Nottingham 16 days ago and it would be very dangerous to take that effort on face value. A good test of his stamina will no doubt be his forte and, although he has been problematic to train, Luca Cumani's gelding has undoubted ability, so can't be discounted now that he has at least got the benefit of a run behind him. Neither can Anice Stellato, whose consistency was admirable last term. He made good progress but now faces his biggest battle with the assessor. Sandor is also worth a mention as he does have ability locked away somewhere. He also has a mischievous side to his nature, though. And would never be one to trust without a doubt. Therefore, it can pay to turn to Sohcahtoa, who has run with credit on each of his starts this season and, having been given a chance by the handicapper, he is well worth another try in this company.
