The vote here goes to Firenze, with her biggest dangers suggested as Indian Maiden and Nidhaal. Firenze has had a very good and lucrative year, not least through having been placed in valuable handicaps at Ascot and Goodwood. She looks well up to being very competitive at this level. Indian Maiden is the highest-rate of these runners, although she has to shoulder a penalty, and if running to anywhere near her best form, should go well, although she disappointed in this race last year. French raider Chantilly Beauty is another to consider based on her best efforts, although she has been racing over longer trips of late, though she did win at six furlongs in 2004. Jeanmaire is the type of filly, we feel, that has yet to reveal her full potential, so she could go well, while Nidhaal's Listed-race form is very solid, certainly in the context of this race, and she too has to be considered. Terentia, who was not far behind her in a Listed race at Hamilton last time, could also go well over this furlong-further trip today. Overall, though, we will side with Firenze.
