Verdict
Several are looking to put below-par efforts behind them including Sceptic, who drops back down in class. Naxos struggled in the Britannia at Ascot while course and distance winner Cancan In The Rain was never in contention at Goodwood and Merlin The Wizard steps up in distance. Kempton novice winner Daysofourlives makes a belated reappearance but SNIPER’S EYE also makes his handicap debut having finished runner-up over track and trip in June. David Simcock’s charge may prove the one to side with.
