Emeralds Pride returns to the scene of her success just five days ago and is clearly in good heart at present. She should deliver a sound account but has quite a burden to carry of 10-5 with her 5lb penalty. SIXCOR is proving a rather in-and-out performer this season but does make plenty of appeal on the best of his form and has only been beaten in photo finishes on two of his last three runs. He receives a handy 8lb from the topweight and hopefully will be on a going day. R Mike Smith has his yard in tidy form and his Ski Angel looks to build on a recent course and distance success. She's only had five starts and could well have further progression to unlock and is a threat. Stable companion Wrecked It Ralph and the consistent maiden Bonito Cavalo are others to note.
