In depth

Verdict

Edge Of Darkness bids for a hat-trick but has been raised another 4lb, though is still preferred to Major Major and On The Right Track who both won lower grade contests last time. Ready To Shine went close at Haydock and Dashing Panther faced a tougher task at Ascot last month but TAJANIS (NAP) will likely prove a warm order on his handicap debut. The Haggas charge was no match for Sweet William at Doncaster but the latter is now rated 103 having subsequently landed a hat-trick and William Buick takes over the reins for this.
