Mubeen gave trainer Ed Dunlop a much appreciated winner when scoring at Ripon last month but this represents a big step up in class for the son of Barathea. However with ground conditions likely to suit he should not be discounted in this Listed race. Of more interest though should be the Mark Johnston-trained Celtic Sapphire. He showed the expected improvement on his debut form at Redcar when chasing home stable companion Helm Bank and Tomahawk in the Chesham Stakes. A reproduction should be good enough. Neville Callaghan's undefeated Magistretti looks best of the rest.
