Verdict

A competitive sprint, as you would expect for the prize money. Lochridge, who struggled to win her maiden on fast ground, will be better suited to this easier surface. She is open to more improvement than most and doesn't look overburdened off a mark of 84. Any further easing in the ground would be a negative for the in form Fayr Jag, who impressed when winning over course and distance last month, with My Only Sunshine, Tudor Wood and Bella Chica behind. Tudor Wood, held up that day, would do better if allowed to bowl along and Bella Chica, who missed the break that day, is capable of making them all go if she can get off on level terms. Others to consider are Lingfield winner Feet So Fast, who has more to do off this mark, but is open to improvement and Compton Dynamo.
