Verdict

Watch the market for clues in this maiden race that is sure to produce a number of future winners, but Front Rank looks to have the right profile and can provide another winner for Sir Michael Stoute and Kieren Fallon. The selection is a Sadler's Wells colt who is related on his dam's side to the useful middle-distance performer Bonny Scot, and the top-class Guineas and King George winner Golan, which will make him popular with punters in this maiden event. There are a number of interesting opponents, though. The in-form Michael Jarvis runs Red Fort, who is by Green Desert out of a Reference Point mare, while John Dunlop's Darshaan filly, Tanaghum, is also very well-related. Barry Hills' Introducing will appreciate the step up to 10 furlongs after being trounced by Ettrick Water over seven when sent off as a 1/3 favourite at Ayr last time. Ed Dunlop's Many Thanks ran a very promising race on her debut at Nottingham, although the winner was put in her place when last of nine behind Russian Rhythm at Royal Ascot next time out. Henry Cecil's Witticism showed little on her debut, but Jeremy Noseda's Perelanda certainly showed promise at Windsor on her last run. The Grand Lodge colt Grand Wizard, Ben Hanbury's Reyadi, a son of Swain, Ed Dunlop's Bestseller, a son of Selkirk, and the Tregoning pair, Opening Hymn and Sweet Harriet , are others to watch out for in the betting, but Front Rank gets the nomination.
