Ventura Knight, seven times a winner, has gradually dropped to a mark he should be winning from and ran very well at a similar level at Redcar last time. Ayutthaya returned to form at Chester and would prefer some cut in the ground so further rain would help but Stylehunter returns from a long break and is 7lb higher than his victory at Goodwood in August. Autumn War didn't last out 1m4f at Ascot after a much better run over this trip at Doncaster but BUZZ is well up to this class as he showed at Newbury in September and he'll be better for his run at Newcastle in April. He gets the vote though if the going turns soft then Awake My Soul would have to be a realistic alternative as Tom Tate's veteran is much better on ground with plenty of give and this is his trip.
