Verdict

ROMSEY made a pleasing start over 6f at Windsor when beaten only a length. She’s a half-sister to a winner over today’s trip and makes more appeal than either Callipygian or The Lazy Monkey. The former represents last year’s winning yard but ran a shocker at Beverley last time when a long way behind the latter, who has subsequently failed to threaten at Nottingham. Archie Watson is still notching-up two-year-old winners on the all-weather so Mrs Dukesbury has to come into the reckoning with Pink Tulip preferred to Hashtagmetoo and Boston Girl
