In depth

Verdict

Little Rock has won a novice race at Southwell while Prince Of Harts remains 6lb higher than when scoring at Wolverhampton in March. Capofaro’s winning run came to an end at Windsor last time and he’s 5lb higher today while Fares Poet posted his best effort to date when runner-up at Wolverhampton. New Jazz failed to threaten at Newmarket on his handicap debut though Kings Royal Hussar went very close at Nottingham on his reappearance and can figure. But JILBAAB took a step forward at Wolverhampton last time when landing a novices' race in good style and it could pay to stick with Brian Meehan’s colt now handicapping for the first time.
