Great Bear made a successful debut at Wolverhampton in November and didn't appear to enjoy soft ground on his reappearance at Haydock but it was a different matter on fast going at Bath where he won very easily. A handicap mark of 81 looks about right and he appears to have more scope than Gravistas, who has been a beaten favourite in his last three starts and looked to have every chance at Musselburgh. Top Top is by Frankel and has changed stables since last season. He didn't show enough on his reappearance to be considered for this though the longer trip may help. HOLY KINGDOM tackles the trip for the first time but looks certain to be suited after staying on over 1m2f here last month and gets the nod to gain his first victory.
