ORANGE PIP may be the answer to a tricky finale where all nine runners have claims before Scouting For Girls take to the stage. This mark has looked just beyond Zowington in recent seasons and he's never made the frame in four visits to the July course but he's capable. Klynch has ability but hasn't proved easy to catch right so it's easy enough to overlook her but harder to dismiss the consistent Silver Wind who had River Kirov behind over course and distance a week ago; he'd be far from certain to confirm the form. A stiff six may ideally suit Belle Des Airs who arrives on the back of two decent efforts but she's gone back up a couple of pounds in the weights and appeals as one to take on given that she's likely to be short enough. Muftarres was entitled to need his reappearance and is unexposed as is Indian Skipper at this trip with cheekpieces sported for the first time. Sweet Gale has been in fine form all season and should run well again but Orange Pip is taken to live up to the family name. The dam is related to Pipalong and this Bold Edge filly is related to a number of winners and she should be capable of adding to her sole success. The handicapper has given her half a chance and Orange Pip may be able to take advantage as long as there isn't too much juice in the ground.
