Echo of Light has a big reputation to uphold and gets the vote, with Meggido, Turner's Touch and Roman Villa others for the short-list. Echo of Light is expected to leave behind his fourth at Newmarket last October, and although we have not heard any rave reviews concerning his latest gallops, the fact that this son of Dubai Millennium still holds a host of big-race entries speaks volumes. Although it is probably too late for him to turn into a Derby candidate, races such as the Coral-Eclipse have been mentioned, so he will really need to impress today to justify such entries. Meggido will strip fitter for his Kempton fourth to Coup d'Etat but holds no fancy entries at this stage, while Turner's Touch was a bit unlucky in running at Lingfield last time but has a bit on his plate here among these promising individuals. Roman Villa has plenty of sprinting blood in his veins so even today's trip will stretch his stamina surely, and all in all, Echo of Light should start to show just why he is high up the pecking order at home.
