Honey Ryder gets the vote over Stargem, with Keyaki and Saristar others worth noting. This fillies' handicap should be well within the capabilities of Honey Ryder based on last season's efforts. David Loder's runner showed glimpses of ability on more than one occasion last term, notably when fourth at Goodwood, not far behind Love Thirty and Cape Columbine, and is a ready-made winner. Providing she is fit enough, she can open her account at the expense of Stargem. The latter is fit from a profitable all-weather campaign and will no doubt try and make all of the running. She has a bit to find but will not be disgraced. Keyaki returns to the fray and will like the fast ground, but her success here last season came over seven furlongs. Saristar will love the ground as well but has plenty of weight for what she has achieved so far, and we return to Honey Ryder as the selection.
