Top Romance created a favourable impression when making a winning debut at Yarmouth and is taken to follow up in this better company at the main expense of Unshooda and Dowager. The last mentioned lost no caste in defeat behind John Gosden's Nyramba at Salisbury over six furlongs last time but her last effort over today's trip in a Listed Race at Sandown leaves something to be desired and she is probably best watched. The Barry Hills-trained Unshooda stepped up on previous efforts when chasing home Ruby Rocket in Ayr's Firth Of Clyde Stakes recently but there is plenty of speed in her pedigree and she may not be suited by the step up in trip at this stage in her career. Jim Goldie's Kelucia has no problems staying the trip having already won over a mile but needs to improve, a comment that also applies to Cusco, a stablemate of Dowager. John Dunlop's juveniles are in good form at present and it would come as no surprise to see either Madaeh or Spotlight step up on previous efforts but Top Romance looked potentially smart when winning at Yarmouth and gets the vote.
