In depth

Verdict

Mistress Quickly has a course and distance victory to her credit and her latest second at Newbury was in a tougher handicap than this. Dawn Choir had some smart form in Ireland and made a more than satisfactory debut for new connections at Kempton in June. This stiffer test will suit and she looks well enough handicapped to give a good account. PHANTASMIC (NAP) couldn't get to Maid Up at Ascot but the winner, who was completing a hat-trick, was only just beaten in this week's Group 2 Lillie Langtree at Goodwood so the form should be good enough for this. Morning Beauty has made all in small fields in two of her last three but needs more against these as does Reassurance, another front-runner who only just failed to hold on over 1m2f at Nottingham and makes her handicap debut. Hyanna has been making great strides and won easily at Epsom despite failing to handle the gradients.
