Sakhee's Secret looks the one to be with in this Group 3 contest; the progressive Captain Gerrard and Zidane look his chief rivals. The quicker the ground the better for our seelction, who admittedly was a little disappointing when last seen out at Haydock in September. However, prior to that he had been in scintillating form and his win here in the July Cup certainly sets the standard. Brian Smart has reported that Captain Gerrard is as fit as he can be for his seasonal reapearance and his form last season looks rock solid, but he will have it all to do today against some older horses. Zidane arrives here with a race fitness edge and he won a Listed event in good style last time. He has more on his plate here but he hails from a family that improves with age so he should not be discounted lightly. Enticing is a nice filly and she has her favoured ground today so she can go well at a price. However, Sakhee's Secret looks the class act and he should prove tough to beat.
