Getaway is sure to be popular with punters here, but Sixties Icon looks a better alternative to us and he is nominated over Galactic Star. Jeremy Noseda has his string in good form and this 5-year-old won this race on his first outing of last season. He had a light campaign after that, but he is a capable performer at this level and if the market speaks in his favour then he could be the one to follow on ground that suits. Getaway has certainly got the form to win this but he is at his best with a bit of cut in the ground and at the forecast odds he could be worth taking on. Galactic Star is a course and distance winner and this lightly-raced type beat Munsef here in a Listed race back in November. He was firmly put in his place in a Group 3 race subsequently so he will need to have improved over the winter if he is to land this event. Henry Cecil has his horses in good form at present so it would not be a surprise to see Tranquil Tiger run a good race here. However, we will put forward Sixties Icon to repeat his 2007 success.
