The shortlist contains Estiqraar, Dawn Quest, Prophecy, Ghostly Pet and Persian Conqueror, with the selection being Estiqraar. Estiqraar showed plenty of promise on his debut, when third to Sciatin over seven furlongs here 21 days ago. With improvement highly likely - which he will, to be fair, need to find given the recent run of the second from that race - he looks set to go well. Dawn Quest also showed promise when second on his debut at Sandown, and has to be respected. John Gosden's Prophecy is a likely type on breeding, while Ogee hails form the Sir Michael Stoute yard, although he has a middle-distance pedigree and the market might prove the best guide. Of those to have run, Irish Whispers needs to show improved form, and Hill Spirit made some late gains on his debut and the step up in trip should help matters. Ghostly Pet is related to five winners, including the decent Murghem, and he gets a good mention, while Senor Dali is among the interesting newcomers, although Persian Conqueror, a half-brother to the stable's Persian Lightning, looks a better option from the same yard and is respected. However, Estiqraar looks the best of the trainer's entries and, accordingly, he gets the vote.
