        Verdict

        Jeremy Noseda's Newbury maiden winner Bosset could be anything but would not appear to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade and preference is for Famcred, who gets the vote ahead of Kaveri. The last mentioned would have claims on the pick of his form but that has all been over seven furlongs and Clive Brittain's sprint bred filly has yet to prove that she stays a mile. Henry Cecil's Fantastisch was good value for her win over this trip at Sandown last time and has to be respected off her 5lb higher mark. My Lovely Lady is only 2lbs higher than when scoring at Bath last time but that form does not look very good in the context of this race, while Magic Peak is hard to recommend on the evidence of her latest start at Nottingham. The vote then goes to Luca Cumani's Famcred, who looks to be going the right way and remains feasibly well treated.
