        Verdict

        Matterhorn is penalised for winning at Chelmsford and Thaayer steps back up in distance after placing over 7f at the same track. Middlescence improves with every start and was third over course and distance recently while Phantasmal finished closer over the 7f at Southwell on his latest start. But John Gosden’s impressive strike rate here brings the returning HOLY HEART into the equation having placed at Wolverhampton on last year’s debut and he gets the nod now gelded with a tongue-tie added.
