In depth

Verdict

Nadaitak, a winner on the Flat, was running on late over 2m at Ascot and is sure to enjoy this longer distance. Minella Bobo won a maiden point in the spring and travelled strongly for a long way in a bumper at Newbury earlier this month. The switch to hurdles will suit but a step up in trip should see HITMAN FRED in a better light after two runs over shorter. He’s also won between the flags and was second to a useful novice in a Kelso bumper at the start of the year. Drumlee Watar will have learned plenty from his fourth at Chepstow and is another for the short-list.
