As is often the case in these races, there is little form for backers to go on with some interesting newcomers including Malcolm Jefferson's pair Brecks Lane and Pokanoket, plus Sue Smith's Karmadice, but FLAYGRAY has the best form among those to have raced previously and he gets the vote. Bob Woodhouse's gelding ran a promising race on his Perth debut last month and he will be tough to beat if improving for that outing. Keith Reveley's Bardolet was well held on his Wetherby debut but should do better for the benefit of that experience, while similar comments apply to Ferdy Murphy's Going Wrong. George Moore's Samraanian Dancer, a half-brother to a 1m2f flat winner Daggers Canyon, is another newcomer to consider but it is Flaygray that gets the vote.
