Edkay could be interesting if his fall last time has not shaken him but PARTICLE is narrowly preferred to Finbin and Abbey Minster. Peter Bowen's horses are in fair form and the selection ran well in defeat last time at Newbury. That was arguably a stronger race than this one, his young jockey can claim a valuable 8lbs off his back, and a big run looks in the pipeline. Harrison's Star is more consistent than most in the line-up, Glen Rouge may have been freshened up by a four month break, whilst Murphys Beau needs to improve but represents a yard in fantastic nick. A tongue-tie is tried for the first time on Finbin following a weak finishing effort in defeat at Hexham, whilst Abbey Minster may improve now sent handicapping over a longer trip off a lowly mark. Not an easy start to the card but Particle can lead them home.
