Pintle, Growler and Acomb are three against the field in another competitive handicap and the tentative vote goes to Pintle. The selection remains on a fair mark and a reproduction of his latest effort which saw him finish fourth behind Armagnac would make him hard to beat Growler rates the main danger on his best form but he was slightly disappointing behind Glencalvie last time so he can not be backed with any confidence. However the step back up in trip should suit. Acomb is another that could go well but his best form is when he is allowed to dominate and he will not get an easy lead here with Pintle in the field and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Borrego is dropping in class and in trip which should suit and he has definite place claims but he is hard to win with. The same comment applies to In The Pink and for the winner we return to Pintle.
