In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap here and many can be given chances on their best form but the vote is given to Hula Ballew with Mobane Flyer, Showtime Annie and Dispol Veleta heading a long list of dangers. The selection is on a fair mark has a good draw and although this hold up performer will need luck in running a reproduction of his latest third behind Huxley would make him hard to beat. Mobane Flyer rates the main danger as he won well last time out when defeating Bond Millennium . This tougher course should suit and although he is worse off with that rival here he is taken to confirm the form. Showtime Annie ran as if returning to form when second behind Eboracum last time. However that was with more cut in the ground and her form on a faster surface leaves her with plenty to find . Dispol Veleta was also second behind Eboracum when last seen on a race course and on a line through that horse their should be little between her and Showtime Annie although the former will be better suited by this faster ground. Of the remainder Don¿t Call Me Derek is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but in a race which throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Hula Ballew.
