Verdict

Quite a number of unexposed sorts to note in the betting, namely the O'Meara pair of Makin Trouble and Rose Acclaim and Lady Cecil's Pudding, all of whom have shown little or nothing to date but now enter handicap company. It's a similar story with Mercury who was strongly touted on debut in a hot York maiden last season but has continued to display no form of any note despite descending to Class 6 grade. We'll stick to those with some form, notably WHO'STHEDADDY for the Kubler team which has enjoyed a decent start to the season. He stayed on well on reappearance over this trip and ground when posting a solid second at Bath, an improved effort on three juvenile runs. He's up 4lb but looks to have his conditions and can go one better. Rosie Crowe and Red Unico are closely matched on Redcar running in April but the former is seen as the main danger as the latter is becoming somewhat frustrating.
