In depth

Verdict

Tartan Tiger would have caught Cilliseal in another couple of strides at Hexham last time and the step up to 3m has clearly suited John Quinn's six-year-old. He's gone up 6lb for that run but looks to be improving and will make a bold bid to get off the mark here. However, he has something to find with HOTGROVE BOY on earlier Musselburgh form and the latter, who is lightly-raced, looks the one to beat at the weights. Chaser Folie A Deux is potentially well treated over the smaller obstacles but has finished tailed off in his last two starts and C&D winner Delightfully would probably prefer softer ground and didn't show much at Wetherby last time. Heather Glen and Oscar Romeo may be the pick of the remainder.
